On the main level guests may relax, visit or read in the dining room/living room area which adjoins two of the guest bedrooms with queen-size beds and private bath. A large deck off the dining room overlooks the lake and offers spectacular sunsets. A full family- style country breakfast is served in the dining room.
The lower level of the house is designed exclusively for our guests. It consists of three bedrooms, each with queen-size bed, private bath. Two of the bedrooms have an extra single bed. An all season sunroom affords a panoramic view of the lake, regardless the weather.
Common areas include: a family room, TV, VCR, and WiFi; a snack room with sink, refrigerator, and microwave; and a large room used for business meetings, family gatherings and social events where we can accommodate up to 50 people for dining at banquet tables. It is permissible to bring your own alcoholic beverages. Cold water, pop, and a Keurig machine are available to guests. A sofa bed in the family room can be used if extra sleeping accommodations are needed.
Our 19-acre watershed lake was built in 1991. It is spring-fed and approximately 25 feet deep. It is well-stocked with bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. It is a private lake and does not require a fishing license. We have 1 boat dock, two fishing boats with trolling motors which overnight guests may use at no charge.
We have an abundance of wildlife on our 320-acre land. Special arrangements can be made to hunt deer, and turkey on our property during the season allowed by the KS Dept of Wildlife and Parks. You are responsible for obtaining any licenses or permits required.
